As the world goes through climate change and pollution is ever increasing we have taken the choice not to just rely on ‘nature’ but to use advanced filtration processes to make sure our product is 100% perfect for you.
Firstly, the ‘raw’ water is passed through a Extruded Activated Carbon Block Filter manufactured by Matrikx which is recognised as the world leader in Carbon Filters. This filter is used to remove any tastes or taints that the water may have as well as acting as a pre filter for the rest of the process. The manufacturing method that Matrikx use allows them to produce a filter with a higher Carbon concentrate than any other leading manufacture hence the reason for our choice.
Secondly, the water is passed through a Jaguar MP Filter with a particle rate of 0.5 microns. This filter is constructed with 100% virgin polypropylene, providing extremely high particle retention. The Jaguar MP Filter cartridge is designed to meet needs where high levels of purity are essential. The high effective surface area combined with a high voids volume give this filter a very high dirt holding capacity and 100% reliable retention rate. This filter will remove any un-wanted particles or Potozoa’s such as Giardia or Cryptosporidium.
Lastly, the water is further polished with a Modified Polyethersulfone Filter. This filter made by AMC Hydro Flow is known for its perfection and 100% reliability, often being used in the Pharmaceutical industry. With a particle size of just 0.2 microns this filter will remove any Bacteria including; Cholera, E.coli and even Salmonella.
